Singapierrot is a soulful duo made up of two Singaporean jester-performers Roy Payamal and Xi Jie. It creates uniquely intimate, poetic experiences, inviting the modern human to explore the wistful, dark corners of our souls. From meditations on modern-day living to the magic and mystery of old-time entertainment, Singapierrot plunges into the primitive, whimsical and playful. The duo have created performance art happening Wishmoon (2012) at Action Parties #3, and performed Oomoonbeings, an original work commissioned by the National Heritage Board for the Singapore Night Festival 2013.  Singapierrot is expanding its practice by collaborating with other artists to create multidisciplinary experiences.
